Countries under sanction – fee payments, monetary transfers and the sharing of student information

Students from the following sanctioned jurisdictions should be aware that the University may need to share their information with financial institutions to enable international fund transfers relating to their enrolment (e.g. payment of fees):

  • Iran
  • Cuba
  • North Korea
  • Syria
  • Crimea Region of Ukraine
  • Libya
  • Afghanistan
  • Iraq
  • Sudan

The information required by the financial institutions may include, but is not limited to, full name; date of birth; country of origin; home and semester address; programme of study; expected completion date; and other study details.
