Take advantage of the latest electronic exam marking methods that use OMR (Optical Mark Reading) scanning technology.
Features of the OMR system
OMR exam marking offers:
- optional feedback that provides students with information about their incorrect answers
- the ability to sort order when viewing results
- easy import of the result file into Excel
Special OMR examination forms are used with software that 'reads' the marks on the form and captures the data electronically. This allows rapid and accurate recording of multi-choice exam results.
The following downloadable image files show examples of what the exam answer sheets look like (access is password restricted to authorised University staff only for security reasons):
Note: Results are only held by ITS for one month after processing.
