Dana L. Ott joined the Department of Management as a Lecturer in International Management in 2019. She completed her PhD in InternationalDana Profile Photo Business at The University of Auckland Business School, and holds an MS in Management with a specialisation in Human Resource Management and a BA in Psychology. Dana also has over 10 years of experience as an academic advisor and coordinator of exchange programmes at universities in both Germany and the USA.


Dana's research interests lie in the areas of International Management, International Human Resource Management and Talent Management. In particular, she examines cultural intelligence, global mobility, neurodiversity in workplaces, macro talent management and literature review methodology. Some of Dana's current research projects investigate transformative international experiences, international careers, neurodivergent talent, and emerging market expatriation. She has presented her research at a number of international academic conferences, and has published in the International Journal of Management Reviews, Journal of Global Mobility, European Journal of International Management, and New Zealand Journal of Human Resources Management, among others.
