Call for abstracts to present at the Pain@Otago Early Career Researcher networking event

Are you developing a research idea? or thinking of what is next in your research career? Would you like to get feedback about any struggles you are going through your research?

Pain@Otago ECR event is now calling for abstracts for PeArLs sessions for the ECR event to be held on November 19.

What are PeArLs?

Personally Arranged Learning Sessions (PeArLs) are designed to create opportunities for presenters to share their preliminary research ideas, topics related to their current research and career development related issues. The peers will assist in further brainstorming and contribute to idea development for the presenter. In this presentation format, the presenter comes up with 1 to 2 key questions and the audience will collectively discuss to problem solve and provide feedback to the presenter. A facilitator will moderate the discussion. Each PeArLs session is 20 minutes with 5 minutes for ECR presenter to propose the questions to the audience followed by 15 minutes of active group discussion.
