Opportunities are available for students to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Physiotherapy (Occupational Health Physiotherapy) then continue on to a Postgraduate Diploma and/or Master of Physiotherapy (Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy).
Please note that a B grade average or above is required in the first four papers for students to progress to the Masters level papers.
Postgraduate student profile
is currently completing his Master of Physiotherapy. He commenced postgraduate study soon after graduating because he found occupational health both challenging and enjoyable and wanted to gain further knowledge to develop his practice. He is excited that he was “able to tailor assignments to my caseload as it meant I could develop skills and knowledge in my specific areas of practice.”

Upon successful completion of the Postgraduate Certificate students can staircase to the Postgraduate Diploma in Physiotherapy
Master of Physiotherapy (Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy)
Upon successful completion of the Postgraduate Diploma, with a B average or above, students can staircase to the Master of Physiotherapy
Note: The PHTY 539 Occupational Health Physiotherapy paper, undertaken as part of the Occupational Health Physiotherapy programmes, meets the ACC vocational rehabilitation competencies.
