Otago students

The Otago Global Student Exchange programme allows students to spend 1 or 2 semesters at one of the 100+ exchange partners worldwide as part of their Otago degree. Students pay standard tuition fees to Otago and receive credits towards their Otago qualification.

Otago Global Student Exchange

Politics programme exchange policy

  • Students can receive credit for a maximum of 3 Politics papers
  • A maximum of 2 of these papers can be at the 300 level

Note: Admission to postgraduate study in POLS and to POLS 390 is dependent on the grades students get in their POLS papers.

If an exchange partner university does not provide final grades for POLS papers, this may hinder admission to further study in Politics at Otago.

Further information

If you have any further questions, contact the Politics exchange adviser:

Professor Robert Patman (semester 1)
