Asbestos Removal – Lindo Ferguson Building, Room 2.40
This work has been delayed and is now due to begin the week after Labour Weekend 27th of October until the 6th of November.
Note: the Gowland lecture Theatre will be unable to be used during this time.
The room 2.40 has been prepared for the removal and access will be limited in this area until the remediation has been completed.
The works will affect access to offices 2.41B and 2.41.
The work will be carried out by licensed asbestos removal specialists, with appropriate controls in place to ensure it is undertaken safely.
Other than the areas noted above, no other areas of the building are expected to be affected.

Site preparation will commence today, 7 September, with the removal work scheduled to take place next week.
The works are expected to be completed by Friday, 18 September.
