Academic success

One of our main objectives of our College is to provide an environment for our students to succeed in their studies. There is plenty of study rooms in which students can use. Learning within the University context demands our students to be on time and well organised. To recognise students with outstanding academic achievement in the first semester examinations, Studholme holds an invitation only "A" scholars function as well as has an "Academic of the year award" in which we select one outstanding students based on their first semester academic results.

Studholme College offer tutorials/ help sessions for our students who have questions regarding concepts, formulas and ideas that they may not have understood in their lectures. These tutorials/ session are geared to help the student arrive at the solution themselves.

Studholme academic performance:

Our student residents stay with us for 40 weeks in any given year. Their academic performance at university level are due largely to the student themselves. History has shown us that if a student is already academically able and have already established good study and learning habits while at secondary school level, then they will perform extremely well within the University setting.

As one part of our selection criteria for Studholme College we look at your academic performance in year 12 to project whether you will be able to cope with university degree you have indicated that you intend on studying.
