If you are looking for conference accommodation or facilities to hold your next event or meeting, Te Rangihīroa College is an ideal venue. Being the newest of the University Residential Colleges, the building opened for use in 2024, and boasts excellent facilities and high-tech features.
Facilities
The college has five floors of 450 bedrooms in total, with 150 rooms with an ensuite (private) bathroom and 300 with modern shared bathroom facilities. Each floor also has two common spaces with lounge and kitchenette facilities. On the ground floor is the main entrance and reception area, as well as a theatre, large common space with kitchenette, our two study/conference/ function spaces, one large and one small, and the college dining hall.
Location
The college is ideally situated for conference guests, being a five minute walk to the University, five minutes to Forsyth Barr stadium, and ten minutes to the very centre of the city.
Catering
A full catering service, including lunch, dinner, morning and afternoon teas, can be provided for conference or function groups on request.
