About us

The University of Otago welcomes students from New Zealand and all over the world to our English language and university Pathway programmes.

Many graduates of these programmes go on to complete a degree at the University of Otago, including professional programmes and advanced degrees such as the PhD.

Otago prides itself on the support offered to all students

We have staff ready to assist you with any problems you may have – from academic support, healthcare, accommodation and anything else you experience outside the classroom. Students are encouraged to ask for help, there is always someone available.
