    Paper Structure

Lectures cover topics on coastal processes and landforms and illustrate the role of coastal geomorphology in environmental and hazard management.

Laboratories are used to develop skills necessary to conduct measurement of processes and change in the coastal zone. Some laboratories take place at local beaches.

Assessment is 60% internal (on-going during the semester) and 40% external (final examination).

    Teaching Arrangements

2 lectures per week and a series of 3 hour laboratory sessions scheduled over the 13 weeks of semester.
