Student Academic Skills (SAS) offers a range of services and advice relating to learning support and academic skill development.  Whether you are a local or distant student, support is available at the Wellington, Christchurch, Southland and Dunedin campuses.

SAS staff are available for consultations by appointment, where a learning advisor will provide practical guidance on topics such as essay writing, time management, effective study techniques and planning and structuring a thesis. To book a consultation, please contact sas@otago.ac.nz

See list of workshops on offer. You will need to register, as spaces are limited.

SAS has numerous digital resources and materials that you can download, such as study guides and tip sheets.  There are also links to other resources that you may find useful.
