It's not such a big word is it? Yet the world of genetics is enormous. It touches our every day lives in ways we can't even begin to imagine. Ground-breaking and informative, genetics research provides us with the framework for a better, brighter future.
Centre for Genetics Research
With over 240 members based at the University of Otago and across New Zealand, Genetics Otago is now the largest centre for advanced, multidisciplinary genetics research in Australasia. As well as aiming to increase the public's awareness of the groundbreaking, yet relevant research being conducted right here in NZ by offering free public lectures, workshops and visits to schools, we also actively support those who are dedicated to this extraordinary discipline.
