Are you suffering from a sports injury, back and neck pain, or a strained muscle?

Do you have persistent pain that will not settle or maybe you are finding gym workouts or running more about pain than pleasure?

What we offer you

We offer physiotherapy services for everyone, need no referral, and can help by:

  • Assessing your problem and tailoring a treatment to your needs
  • Giving you the choice of an appointment with a fourth-year student - supervised by staff - or with a physiotherapist only
  • Incorporating hands-on treatment with gym-based and sports rehabilitation

At the Dunedin Clinics, physiotherapists, doctors, and sports science experts work together to provide the following services:

  • Clinical staff with diverse skills and postgraduate qualifications in manipulative therapy, the McKenzie Method, clinical pilates, sports medicine, occupational health, acupuncture, and women's health

  • Supervised students in clinics accredited by the New Zealand Physiotherapy Accreditation Scheme, ensuring high standards of practice

Private consultations

  • Rates for the general public:
    • Initial private consultation with physiotherapist $70.00
    • Follow-up private consultation with physiotherapist $60.00
  • Rates for University staff / Super Gold Card holders:
    • Initial private consultation with physiotherapist $60.00
    • Follow-up private consultation with physiotherapist $50.00
    • Initial private consultation with student (supervised) $30.00
    • Follow-up private consultation with student (supervised) $30.00

ACC surcharges

  • Rates for the general public:
    • Initial ACC consultation with physiotherapist $25.00
    • Follow-up ACC consultation with physiotherapist $20.00
  • Rates for University staff / students / Super Gold Card holders:
    • Initial ACC consultation with physiotherapist $15.00
    • Follow-up ACC consultation with physiotherapist $10.00
    • Special rates available for supervised treatment by a student

Student - ACC

  • Initial ACC consultation $10.00
  • Follow-up ACC consultation $5.00

Headache assessments

  • Initial assessment $260.00
  • Follow-up treatment $160.00
  • Full report $50.00

Balance clinic charges

  • Private and self-referrals (and BPPV treatment) $70.00
  • Equitest (including treatment) $130.00
  • BPPV follow up treatment $50.00
  • Private reports $50.00

Women's health assessments

  • Initial assessment $130.00
  • Follow-up $60.00

Injury recovery and Pilates classes

  • Casual (per class) $10.00
  • 5 class card $40.00
  • 10 class card $80.00

Massage therapy available on request

Relaxation massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and lymphatic drainage are available.

  • Half hour $45.00
  • Full hour $75.00
