Student Health offer the services of a consultant psychiatrist, which include diagnostic expertise and the coordination of care for severe and/or complex mental health presentations. Patients with certain mental health conditions will require, at least, initial psychiatric input e.g. anorexia nervosa.
Appointments with the Psychiatrist require referral from another Student Health clinician such as a GP or a member of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Team. Higher charges apply.
