The University, City & Region
The University
University College Dublin (UCD) is a vibrant, modern university situated on a spacious campus about three miles to the south of Dublin city centre. For students, both Irish and international, Quinn offers a supportive and stimulating environment in which to spend a period of intellectual and personal development.
Since its foundation in 1908, the Faculty of Commerce at University College Dublin, also referred to as UCD Business Schools, has developed into the largest and most dynamic business school in Ireland and one of the largest in Europe.
It consists of two schools-the undergraduate school of business, recently named Quinn School of Business, in Belfield and The Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business in Blackrock, County Dublin. It is the ideal place for people to develop their business talents and to become leaders in the Irish and international business community, as have so many of their 20,000 alumni world-wide. UCD Business Schools is noteworthy for having established the first MBA Programme in Europe.
The City of Dublin & Region
Overlooked by the legendary Wicklow Mountains and bordered by the Irish Sea, Dublin can claim to be one of the most beautifully situated cities in the world. It is the historic and cosmopolitan capital of Ireland. Whether you're interested in walking its elegant Georgian streets, shopping in one of its many fine shopping centres, or finding that perfect pint of Guinness, Dublin has an array of attractions to offer everyone.
