Carolyn King is Director, Human Resources (Acting) for the University of Otago and took up the role on 6 January 2025.
Carolyn has worked in Human Resources at the University since 2006, initially as a Divisional HR Manager and most recently as Head of Change Management and Organisational Design.
Prior to joining the University Carolyn worked as a Management Consultant for Deloitte in Dunedin and KPMG in Wellington, working with organisations from the public and private sectors. While this work covered all aspects of human resources, Carolyn had a particular focus on organisational design and change processes.
Carolyn enjoys researching family history and spending time with family and friends.
