Dr Hoa Luong joined the Department of Accountancy and Finance in February 2020. She obtained her PhD from Curtin University, Australia in 2019 with Chancellor's Commendation Award. She completed a Master of Business from Monash University, Australia.

Hoa is passionate about teaching and research. She is a dedicated and enthusiastic lecturer. She has taught undergraduate, postgraduate and professional accreditation courses. While completing her PhD, she gained teaching and research experience from Curtin University, the University of Western Australia and Edith Cowan University. Prior to her PhD, she was a lecturer in accounting and finance, the academic manager for the CPA Tuition Provider project at the Academy of Finance, Vietnam.
