Tom Stannard joined the Department of Accountancy and Finance as a Lecturer in Finance in 2023. He is a member of the department's postgraduate committee.

Prior to joining the department, Tom worked in finance and economics consulting and was part of the economics department of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. Tom also has experience lecturing at the undergraduate level.
