The Department of Anatomy is a large, diverse, and research-oriented Department within the Division of Health Sciences, at the University of Otago.  The Department provides an environment that allows its students to undertake research into globally-relevant questions, under the supervision of internationally-recognised scientists, and in a diverse and vibrant postgraduate environment.

We are always interested in hearing from ambitious research students who are interested in undertaking PhD Study in the Department.  Enthusiastic and suitably-qualified students are  encouraged to contact potential supervisors directly.

The value of Dunedin

There are lots of reasons students come to Dunedin to study. But everyone agrees Dunedin's incredible lifestyle is one of the biggest draw cards.

It is also a great place to raise kids, with lots of good schools and childcare facilities close to the University.
