    Postgraduate qualifications

    Honours, Master’s, PhDs, and other advanced degrees for graduates. Just one additional year of study will earn you a valuable postgraduate degree. Or perhaps you want the depth of a full year of research-only time during a Master’s or to step up to a PhD.

    Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences (PGCertHealSc)


    A one-year part-time (or one semester full-time) programme for health professionals who want to increase knowledge and skills in a specific area of practice

    Postgraduate Diploma in Health Management (PGDipHealMgt)


    A two-semester programme that draws on public health and business administration, benefitting both health professionals and managers entering the health sector

    Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences (PGDipHealSc)


    A one-year full-time (or longer part-time) programme for health professionals who want to increase knowledge and skills in a specific area of practice

    Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science (PGDipMLSc)


    A one-year programme, incorporating coursework and basic research, that aims to provide preparation for the Master of Medical Laboratory Science (MMLSc)

    Postgraduate Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine (PGDipSEM)


    A one-year full-time (or longer part-time) programme for health care professionals who want to increase their knowledge in Sport and Exercise Medicine

    Master of Bioethics and Health Law (MBHL)


    An interdisciplinary postgraduate programme including coursework and research, completed in one year of full-time or equivalent part-time study.

    Master of Health Sciences (MHealSc)


    A one- or two-year postgraduate degree encompassing coursework and/or research in a chosen area of specialisation

    Master of Medical Laboratory Science (MMLSc)


    A research-focused degree for those with previous study or work experience in medical laboratory science, offering a pathway to a research or academic career.
