Hi, I am Dr Emma Boddington. I am a GP who lives on the West Coast. I grew up in the third largest city in the UK, but came to Aotearoa over 20 years ago on a sabbatical to Grey Base Hospital where I worked as a junior doctor. I loved the variety of work, the lack of workplace hierarchy, and a community that values who you are as a person not how much you earn.
Outside of work I enjoyed trying every activity I could from diving to golf, surfing to gold mining. All new to me but lots of fun. I liked everything on the Coast so much I stayed. I have been lucky enough to be involved with RMIP in a variety of roles since the first year it began.
