Kia ora, I’m Kristie. I’m originally from Canada, but most recently lived in Wellington. I’ve just recently moved down to Ashburton to work as the Administrator for the RMIP Programme. I’m loving the community feel, the green spaces, as well as the ease with which I can get around both on foot and by bike. It’s a real treat to see the mountains most mornings on my walk to work.
I have a background working at universities, as well as in health research/health libraries. It was in the research capacity that I developed a particular interest in rural health, so was really excited to see this role become available. I’m finding it fantastic to work with people who have a passion for rural health.
