Research

AI In orchard (280)MaaraTech Human Assist is a five year transdisciplinary project funded by MBIE’s 2018 Endeavour Fund with the goal of researching and developing robots and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for use in horticulture and viticulture in New Zealand. It is a research collaboration between University of Auckland (lead), University of Waikato, University of Canterbury, University of Otago, Lincoln Agritech, and Plant and Food Research.
