Niloofar Dini is a PhD student at the Centre of Sustainability. Born and raised in Iran, she began his educational journey with a Bachelor of Science in Railway Transportation Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology. She pursued a Master of Science in Maritime Studies from the same university and chose to begin her new chapter in PhD in New Zealand due to her passion for academia and research.
Niloofar enjoys exploring new places and trying diverse dishes.
Research
Niloofar is working on transportation networks, specifically their role in community resilience after disruptive events in New Zealand. Her research is part of Te Hiranga Rū QuakeCoRE’s research inter-disciplinary programme 3.
