Research focus
Nishal is researching cognitive recovery, nocebo effects and functional cognitive disorder in patients with mild traumatic brain injury / concussion.
Nishal is supervised by Professor Deborah Snell and Dr Jennifer Dunn of the University of Otago, and Dr Josh Faulkner, Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist from Victoria University of Wellington.
Additionally, Nishal is advised by Associate Professor Paul Skirrow, Senior Lecturer and Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist, University of Otago, Wellington and Dr Damien Appleton, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Central Otago.
