Dr Ibrahim S Al-Busaidi is a clinician-academic and Senior Lecturer at the University of Otago, Christchurch. He is a practising General Practitioner / Family Medicine Physician and Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners. His academic interests focus on primary care workforce development, diabetes and chronic disease management, antibiotic prescribing, and quality and safety in healthcare. He is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and health services research in Aotearoa New Zealand.
