Jon joined the team at the UOC Simulation Centre in February 2022.

He completed his medical training in Edinburgh, Scotland and currently works at the University of Otago Simulation Centre as Clinical Senior Lecturer (Clinical Skills Research Lead) and also as a Paediatric Surgeon at Christchurch Hospital.

Jon is experienced with technical skills simulation for neonatal surgery and research and non-technical skills training around neonatal surgery. He has completed both the Network Z instructor course (2020) and Boston CMS course (2017).
