The final step to becoming fully enrolled at Otago is completing a formal online declaration in eVision.

How to complete the declaration

You can complete the declaration once you:

  • have gained University Admission, and
  • have accepted an unconditional offer to your programme

Log into your eVision portal, go to the 'Course enrolment' section and complete the 'Declaration' step. If this step is not yet visible in eVision, you'll receive a notification once it is available to complete.

Why you need to complete the declaration

The declaration is a legal statement that you'll abide by the University's rules.

Completing it as early as possible means:

  • Studylink can confirm your enrolment and authorise payments (if applicable)
  • you can avoid any late fees
  • you can collect your student ID card and access University resources (Unipol recreation centre, Students Services support, orientation activities, etc.).

After you've completed the declaration

Once you've completed the declaration, you can collect your student ID card:

  1. Wait at least one working day after completing your declaration.
  2. Visit the ID Card Office with your student ID number and a valid photo ID.
