Focuses on the use of the Internet and the World Wide Web as tools for teaching, learning, and research. Examines how teaching resources can be searched, gathered, and evaluated on the Internet. Ethical issues relating to use of the Internet are also discussed. The Internet is used as the delivery system.
The Internet is an integral part of our everyday lives, as well as our education system. In this paper you will learn more about how to make best use of the Internet to support, enhance and deliver education to your students/colleagues and how to use it for your own professional development needs.
Appropriate for anyone who has had two years of experience with some form of teaching and learning – formal or informal - this paper focuses on how to effectively use the Internet and the World Wide Web as tools for teaching and learning. - (i) Students who have not passed the normal prerequisite may be admitted with approval from the Dean of the College of Education. (ii) Not available to students who have already completed EDUX 413, which is an advanced paper that follows on from EDUX 435.

- Locating and using web-based resources in teaching and learning
- Using the Internet to deliver teaching and learning
- Teaching Arrangements
- This paper is taught online, with students not required to be online at set times. It is fully internally assessed.
