This paper covers nutritional needs for training and competition, the role of nutrition in body composition and sports foods.
- Teaching Arrangements
Two hours interactive learning sessions per week for 13 weeks.
Laboratory classes for 4 weeks.

- Discuss the role and use of sports foods and dietary supplements in sport
- Have insight into and appreciate the scope of practice of a sports nutritionist working within the sports nutrition area
