Overview
Students focus on an advanced creative project in performance, composition, or music production (or in a combination of these areas).
This paper will guide students in planning and executing creative projects at a professional level. Students will enhance their technical skills in performance, composition, or music production (or in combination) to a professional standard while integrating self-reflection and critique into their creative process. Students will learn to present their work effectively in a relevant medium, interpret their creativity appropriately, and contextualize their creative practice within academic and cultural discourses through research and analysis.

- Teaching Arrangements
This paper is delivered through a mixture of seminars and individual supervisions. In order to achieve at a high standard, it is strongly recommended that students attend all learning sessions, and maintain clear communication with their supervisors regarding any unavoidable absences.
Supervisions for performance students may take the form of lessons on their instrument or voice and will be taught one-to-one. Composition and music production students will also be supervised one-to-one, though occasionally supervisions may take the form of small group sessions.
In addition to attendance at the scheduled seminars and regular supervisions/lessons, students are expected to engage with and contribute to additional activities in their subject area throughout the year: these include multi-year performance classes, music production workshop sessions, and composers’ workshops.
