    Overview

An exploration of key issues facing Christian churches in the Moana Pacific region and the distinct approaches of Christians in the Moana to the living out of Christian life.

This course explores the profound importance of the church in Pacific cultures and addresses critical issues facing churches in the Pacific region and diaspora communities in New Zealand and Australia.

Drawing on the insights of practical theologians, church leaders, and scholars within the various disciplines of the Pacific sector, this paper will examine issues of life and faith among Pacific peoples. It will highlight the social and political challenges faced by Pacific communities in a world marked by globalisation and explore the implications for church ministry and missions in the 21st century.
