    1. Present an oral summary to the class using a relevant and effective Powerpoint

    3. Work in groups to research a chosen topic and produce an academic report
    4. Write in the report, explanation, and argument genres
    5. Recognise and understand typical lecture style, how to focus on key concepts, and take effective notes
    6.Recognise and understand the typical structure and content of a range of academic texts and how to close read them
    7. Demonstrate an ability to write comprehensibly, using accepted English grammar, syntax, spelling and punctuation
