Research
Brendon is a clinical exercise physiologist, specialising in the assessment and prescription of exercise for a variety of clinical conditions. His recent research has explored exercise interventions and assessment for patients with cardiovascular disease, osteoarthritis and those awaiting surgery.
Brendon is passionate about doing research that is accessible, equitable and improves peoples hauora and quality of life.

- Perioperative medicine / prehabilitation / preoperative exercise
- Cardiopulmonary exercise testing
- Interventions with a health equity focus, with an emphasis on Māori and Pacific Peoples
