I am an energy and environmental economist, and my research examines technology adoption decisions, energy and climate policies, the barriers towards pro-environmental behaviour, and climate change adaptation. I am interested in studying empirical questions related to the environment, climate change and the energy landscape that are relevant to both households and to firms.

Prior to joining the Otago Business School, I was a senior scientist at the Chair for Energy and Public Economics at ETH Zurich in Zurich, Switzerland, to which I am affiliated as a Research Associate. I obtained my PhD from the Geneva Graduate Institute in Geneva, Switzerland.
