PhD candidate
Joseph joined the PhD programme in the Department of Economics in March 2025. Prior to that, he received his First Class Honours degree in Economics from the University of Waikato, New Zealand.
Joseph's research interests span experimental design, choice modelling and consumer behaviour. A central focus of his current research is evaluating the efficiency of experimental designs and applying heterogeneous choice models to capture the diversity in consumer demand and preferences.
Joseph aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of how individuals make economic decisions under varying circumstances, and how tailored modelling approaches can improve the predictive power and policy relevance of consumer studies.
