Learn by doing – and then reflect on what you have learnt
This experiential style of learning centres on the residential immersion experience, and is supported by comprehensive pre- and post- programme elements.
Your learning journey begins before you arrive on-campus and continue after. Each programme includes a week-long residential stay at the University of Otago or a location of your choice. The entire learning journey could be 8 months long.

Pre-residential Preparation: This preparation depends on your training requirements. Examples include diagnostics of your organisation issues, pre-reading, or reflective practice where participants are set ideas or tasks, and come up with solutions or insights.
Residential Session: Each session includes facilitation delivery, practical activities, and interactive group and class discussions. Participants are encouraged to discuss ideas and concepts. These ideas are further developed by and applied to the context of participants' organisations.
Post-residential Personalised Coaching: Applications of what is learnt is important and often the reason that organisations embark on the training. In this phase, our facilitators will follow up individually with each participant on the practical application of what is learnt.
