Clinical anatomy, medical education

Research

Professor Nicholson’s current research interests are in the areas of clinical anatomy and medical education. These include factors that affect how students learn anatomy through dissection, practicing of clinical skills and wellbeing among health-care workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. She has a background in male reproductive biology in particular the regulation of prostate growth in health and disease and still maintains an interest in men’s health.

Professor Nicholson is currently the President of the International Federation of Associations of Anatomists.
