Clinical Senior LecturerBronwyn Moore

Dr Bronwyn Moore is a clinic doctor at Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa, where she has worked for 18 years. She serves as the doctor representative on the organisation’s National Wellbeing Group and plays an active role in clinical education. Her responsibilities include training nurses and doctors in long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) and pipelle biopsy procedures, as well as providing regular mentorship to clinical staff.

Teaching

Dr Moore graduated in Medicine from the University of Otago in 2001 and is a Fellow of the New Zealand College of Sexual and Reproductive Health (NZCSRH). She has been a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Otago since 2021, where she teaches gynaecological history-taking and examination skills, as well as contraception, to fifth-year medical students. She also contributes to postgraduate education through the Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, delivering lectures on trauma-informed care, leading LARC skills workshops, and serving as an assessor in the OSCE examination.

Service to professional bodies

In addition to her clinical and academic roles, Dr Moore has served on the NZCSRH Board since 2022. She is a national trainer for LARC educators through the SRH College, a tutor with The Collaborative Trust, and a mentor with the Wāhine Connect programme, supporting professional development and wellbeing among doctors.
