Dr Angharad Hurley was awarded her PhD in 2020 at the Department of Paediatrics, University of Otago Christchurch, which focussed on the development of self-management outcome measures for children with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Since completing her PhD Angharad has broadened the scope of her research within the field of paediatric IBD, and to other paediatric specialities and beyond. Angharad has extensive experience of many different research methodologies, including meta-analysis as well as prospective and retrospective studies and large dataset population research.
