What are preliminary lectures?

Preliminary lectures are short presentations that provide information about the papers you are enrolled in. Many departments will hold preliminary lectures for semester 1 and full year papers on the Friday before the first week of lectures. This is the start date for most courses for StudyLink purposes.

The room and stream allocation will be available in your eVision timetable and in the student app.

Information for your papers will also be available on Blackboard from the Friday before Orientation week.

There are no preliminary lectures for papers held in semester 2.

Preliminary lectures for 2023 are generally held on Friday 24 February.
