Research

I completed both my BSc and PhD at University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney Australia. I undertook a post doctoral position in the Gynaecology Research Group at UNSW before moving to Aotearoa in 2019 as a research fellow in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Women’s health at the University of Otago Wellington. In 2023 I joined the Department of Surgery and Anaesthesia as a lecturer.

My research interests are in gynaecology, specifically ovarian and uterine cancer, endometriosis and menstrual heath. I lead the Translational Gynaecology Research Group and work closely with the gynaecology department at Wellington Hospital. Our research covers biomarker discovery, personalised medicine and experiences of patient journeys (qualitative).
