Research

Dr Marc Gutenstein is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Rural Health Academic Centre, Ashburton Hospital. He has led the development of the ‘Rural Interprofessional Simulation Course’ to train interprofessional rural hospital teams in trauma and emergency management.

Dr Gutenstein convenes the 'GENA 723 Trauma and Emergencies in Rural Settings' paper for the University of Otago's rural postgraduate programme. He also works at Nelson Hospital as Emergency Physician.
