Research

Jerram is a Research Fellow in the Social and Behavioural Research Unit within the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine. His current research is focused on supportive care in cancer, particularly the challenges, barriers and facilitators associated with the need to travel for cancer treatment and supportive care; the provision of supportive care services and programmes for cancer survivors post-treatment; and inequity in supportive care.

His other research interests include tobacco control; HIV/AIDS; health and wellbeing in diaspora tourism; and resilience and development in rural communities.
