Clinical
Currently retired from active clinical commitments. However, I remain current with changes in the field of Paediatric Surgery and a in the field of Fetal treatment.

Research

Extensive experience in fetal lamb models exploring renal development and bladder development in obstructive uropathy as well as fetal wound healing. Also extensive research in lung development in the fetal lamb using both obstructive uropathy and diaphragmatic hernia models.

Founding member of the International Fetal Medicine and Surgery Society with extensive involvement in their annual scientific meetings giving me a broad knowledge of fetal therapy in general and fetal surgery in particular.

40 years of clinical experience in Paediatric Surgery and extensive involvement with Fetal Therapy combined clinical groups from 1981- 2015. Now retired from clinical work, but still active in research.
