Aitasi Uele

Aitasi hails from the beautiful islands of Samoa. She completed her Bachelor of Education at the National University of Samoa and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji. She taught in Samoa and Tokelau for a number of years. She is proficient in speaking Samoan, Fijian, Tokelauan and Tongan.

Aitasi has an administrative role at the Va’a o Tautai – Centre for Pacific Health where she provides support to Divisional Pacific committees, including support for all staff members at the Va’a o Tautai. Aitasi’s organisational skills and understanding of different Pacific Island community protocols assists to ensure that the work within Va’a of Tautai is undertaken in a culturally safe and welcoming environment for everyone: visitors, communities, staff and students.
