Additional details
Grettel Williams was born and raised in the mighty Hawkes Bay. With a Bachelor of Science, a postgraduate Diploma in Public Health and a Masters in Public Health from Otago, Grettel has come to call Dunedin her home.
Her journey at the Va’a o Tautai – Centre for Pacific Health began in 2018 as the academic administrator, in 2021 she took on the role as Programme Co-ordinator (Mentoring), responsible for co-ordinating the POPO mentoring and outreach programmes.
This year she is stepping into a new role as POPO Manager, where she is responsible for managing all the student support services provided through POPO and is the key contact for any matters related to Pacific students in Health Sciences.
