Parental leave guide
Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka | the University of Otago recognises and supports parents taking leave to care for their children and support partners. The Taking Parental Leave at the University of Otago guide provides information about parental leave provisions that are available to University of Otago staff members. It is written to accompany the University’s Parental Leave Policy and to assist staff with the parental leave process. The birth or adoption of a child is a major life event. The University’s aim is to help all staff to achieve a satisfying and productive work-life balance. We hope this guide will provide you with all the information you need as you set forth on your journey into parenthood.
