Research
Current research is titled: Analysing the Primary Health Care Experience of South Asians to Inform the Co-design of a Culturally Safe Primary Care Template for Cardio-Metabolic Conditions. This is supported by a two-year research grant from Lottery Health Research.
Joby’s past research bridges evidence, policy, and practice, spanning primary care, population health management, and health systems strengthening. His work has focused on enhancing equity, improving healthcare quality, building frontline workforce capacity, and translating research evidence to improve health outcomes in developing countries. He has led and evaluated large-scale health and nutrition programmes across Asia and Africa on behalf of leading international development agencies.
